It encompasses 32 countries and covers about 15.6 million square miles. The 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne) is designed to deploy and execute nine doctrinal missions, including coalition warfare support, combat search and rescue, security assistance, peacekeeping, humanitarian assistance, counter-mine and counter-drug operations, and more.
