To go live on TikTok, you need to meet the following requirements:
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- You must have at least 1,000 followers.
Once you meet these requirements, you can follow these steps to go live on TikTok:
- Open the TikTok app and tap the "+" camera icon.
- Select the "LIVE" option from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Choose an image, write a title for your broadcast, add a topic (optional), and the live stream’s goal.
- Tap "Go LIVE" and your followers will get a notification that you’re live.
To end your live stream, press the "X" at the top-left corner of the screen to stop recording. If you dont have 1,000 followers, you wont be able to start your own live video, but you can be invited as a guest in someone elses live.
