Touch of Magic is a built-in customization tool in the game Disney Dreamlight Valley that allows players to customize certain pieces of clothing and furniture. It allows players to choose from a variety of blank, basic designs such as shirts, headscarves, dresses, and chairs, and then customize them by picking the color, decorating them with motifs (for clothing) or textures (for furniture), and then wearing or placing them in the Valley as they see fit. The customization potential extends further, with the use of unlockable graphics known as Motifs, in combination with a selection of color and texture possibilities, allowing the creation of entirely distinctive styles for clothing and furniture items. Once customized, these items are categorized as Touch of Magic items. However, Touch of Magic items cannot be used in DreamSnaps challenges, as they can potentially cause an unfair advantage in the voting portion of the competition.
