The Cabinet is a group of advisors to the President of the United States, and it includes the Vice President and the heads of 15 executive departments. The Cabinet-level positions are appointed by the President and must be confirmed by the Senate. Here are two examples of Cabinet-level positions:

• Secretary of State: This position is responsible for working with other countries around the world.

• Secretary of Labor: This position is responsible for recommending new laws dealing with unions and the workplace and enforcing existing laws.
