Mark Seymour was the frontman and songwriter of the rock band Hunters & Collectors from 1981 until 1998. After the band broke up, he started a solo career, releasing his debut solo album in 1997 and winning an ARIA Award in 2001 for Best Adult Contemporary Album. He has since released several more solo albums and has also composed film scores, written and performed music for a theatrical production, and acted. Mark Seymour is the brother of bassist Nick Seymour, who played for Crowded House.
