Psychic-type Pokemon are weak against Bug, Dark, and Ghost-type moves. Dark-types are especially useful as they are immune to Psychic moves. Ghost, Bug, and Dark moves get super effective damage on Psychic-types. Conversely, Steel, Dark, and opposing Psychic Pokemon resist Psychic attacks. Therefore, when battling against Psychic-type Pokemon, it is best to use Pokemon with Bug, Dark, or Ghost-type moves or have Pokemon with these types of moves in your party. Some examples of Pokemon that are good against Psychic-types include Sableye, Scizor, Bisharp, Tyranitar, Aegislash, Mega Gengar, Shadow Metagross, Metagross, Mega Beedrill, Shadow Mewtwo, Dialga, Genesect, and Darkrai.
