In the 2017 movie "Baby Driver," the main character, Baby, drives a red 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX. The car was specially adapted for the movie by Allpro Subaru in Georgia and given a 300bhp WRX STI drivetrain, a CNC hydraulic handbrake, new diffs at the front and rear, forged pistons, and an Exedy Stage 1 clutch. The car was used as a stunt car in the opening bank robbery scene, with a particular 180 in and 180 out maneuver stealing the show. The car was also featured in several other chase scenes throughout the movie.
