Giannis Antetokounmpo did not attend college. He began playing basketball for the youth teams of Filathlitikos in Athens and later played for the clubs senior team before entering the 2013 NBA draft, where he was selected 15th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks. In an interview with Business Insider, Giannis mentioned that he would have considered Duke University if he had played NCAA basketball.
