SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, went to college to study marine biology after graduating from high school in 2008. She went to three different schools before settling at Delaware State University. However, during her last semester, she chose to drop out of college to pursue her music career. In an interview, SZA reflected on her decision to drop out and said that she felt like she "disrespected" her parents by doing so.
