The UAB Blazers are the varsity intercollegiate athletic programs that represent the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) . UAB is one of the fourteen member institutions of the American Athletic Conference and participates in Division I of the NCAA. The schools mens basketball team plays in 8,508-seat Bartow Arena, and the Blazers colors are forest green and old gold. The football team has won two Conference-USA championships and three NCAA Bowl Games since 2018. UAB has been playing a pivotal role in developing the startup community in Alabama and provided one-of-a-kind experience.
