According to various sources, the generation that comes after Millennials is known as Generation Z, Gen Z, post-Millennials, Homelanders, or the iGeneration. Researchers and popular media use the mid-to-late 1990s as starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years for defining Generation Z. However, there is no definitive threshold by which later generational boundaries are defined, unlike the Boomers. For analytical purposes, Pew Research Center decided to use 1996 as the last birth year for Millennials, and anyone born from 1997 onward is part of a new generation. Generation Alpha is the demographic cohort succeeding Generation Z and is defined as those born from 2010-2024. Generation Beta will be born from 2025 to 2039, followed by Generation Gamma and Generation Delta.
