There are several spin-off shows that have been announced or are currently airing after the end of the flagship show "The Walking Dead" in 2022. Here are the details:
- "Fear the Walking Dead": The final six episodes of season 8 will premiere in October 2023.
- "The Walking Dead: Dead City": This show premiered in June 2023 and follows Negan and Maggies journey through New York to save Maggies son. It takes place years after the end of "The Walking Dead" series finale.
- "The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon": The first season of this show just ended, and the second season, titled "The Book of Carol," will bring Carol back and focus on her journey. It is set to air in the future.
- "The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne": This show was announced at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 and is set to premiere in 2024. There are currently two teaser trailers out there, with one focusing on Michonnes perspective and the other from Ricks POV.
- "Tales of the Walking Dead": This series consists of anthology-based episodes that premiered in August 2022 on AMC. The first season featured six stories focusing on new or established characters from "The Walking Dead" series.
