On TikTok, a view is counted the very second your video starts to play, and every watch counts as a new unique view. This also applies to the scenario where the video autoplays, loops, or a user rewatches it. However, watching your own videos won’t be counted as a view. Unlike TikTok, Instagram and IGTV count a view after a video autoplays for 3 seconds consecutively, and replays don’t count. On Facebook, the rules/measures are the same as Instagram and IGTV. Replays are not counted on Twitter, so the same viewer watching a video repeatedly will not increase your view count.
