Kat Von D is a Mexican-American tattoo artist, television personality, entrepreneur, and recording artist. She rose to fame as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television show LA Ink, which premiered in the United States on August 7, 2007, and ran for four seasons. However, she has been involved in several controversies throughout her career, including accusations of anti-Semitism, a boycott of her beauty brand after she announced that she would not be vaccinating her child, and legal trouble related to her tattoo parlor. She has also faced backlash for her personal life, including her husbands swastika tattoo and her ex-boyfriends Nazi costume. In March 2020, Von D told the Los Angeles Times that despite her Instagram post, shes not an anti-vaxxer "at all".
