Tony King is a character from the British soap opera EastEnders who was revealed to be a predatory hebephile who had been grooming and sexually abusing Whitney Dean, Biancas adopted daughter, since she was 12). After spending time in prison for assaulting a teenage boy who had propositioned Whitney, Tony returned to Walford and resumed his sexual relationship with her, with Whitney even going so far as to book flights for them to run away together when she turned 16. His vile behavior came to light after Whitney told Bianca that she and Tony were going to run away and start a new life together, genuinely believing it would happen. Bianca, who was horrified at the news, called the police and Tony was arrested. Tonys barrister, Mrs. Taylor, cross-examines Whitney, trying to imply that she pursued him for several years, saying she refused to take no for an answer and lied about the accusations. Tony shouts out that he is innocent but Whitney says she trusted him and he abused her, revealing the truth about the relationship. The storyline ended with Tony being convicted in court after Whitney finally came clean about the abuse. The character later committed suicide in prison out of shame for his crimes.
