Tulane University is a Division I school in the NCAA, specifically in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) . Tulane has 14 intercollegiate programs, two of which compete outside of the American Athletic Conference (The American) . Beach volleyball and bowling, womens sports that are not sponsored by The American, compete in Conference USA (C-USA) . Tulane has 10 women’s and six men’s teams that compete in the American Athletic Conference. In addition to NCAA Division I programs, Tulane also offers club sports and intramurals.
