Camels are a new addition to Minecraft as of the 1.20 update. They spawn in the center of each desert village during world generation and wont respawn if theyre killed. Camels can be ridden by attaching a saddle to them, and up to two players can ride a single camel at the same time. They can sprint for a limited period and dash forward by holding down the jump button while riding a camel. Camels can be fed cactus plants to heal them, and two camels can be brought together and fed each a cactus to produce a baby camel. Camels can sit down and step over 1.5-block-high obstacles, making them harder to contain than other passive mobs. Killing camels has very little use, as they only drop a few experience orbs and potentially a saddle if they were wearing one at the time of their death.
