In Minecraft, goat horns are dropped by adult goats when they ram into a tree or any other hard block that occurs naturally where goats spawn. Once obtained, players can equip the goat horn to their hand and use it to create a loud horn sound that can be heard up to 256 blocks away. This can be useful for coordinating an ambush or warning other players of an incoming illager attack. In addition, goat horns are the first official instrument in Minecraft, and players can use them to create music or send signals to their friends on Minecraft servers. Other mobs do not currently react to the sound of the goat horn, but future mob interactions may be added to the game in the future.
