It is a large dinosaur-like creature that can be hatched from a Sniffer Egg, which can be found in suspicious sand blocks in the warm ocean ruins. Once hatched, the Sniffer will roam around aimlessly, sniffing the ground for seeds and digging them up. The seeds that Sniffers can find are useful for creating new decorative plants in the game. Sniffers are also one of the largest mobs in the Overworld. They cannot spawn naturally in the games world and must be specifically found by the player.
