According to Islamic beliefs, Allah is unique in His entity, actions, and attributes. There is nothing like Him, nothing that is equal or comparable to Him or that can rival Him. He is far above any resemblance to any created being. Allah is beyond time and space, and beyond our imagination of anything like Him. There is no equivalent to Him, and none of His creatures look like Him. The Quran tells us that Allah is not like any creature that He created, whether it is human or jinn. Muslims are not supposed to try to imagine or picture Allah, but rather believe in the sublime attributes which befit His Might and Majesty in which there is none like unto Him. Allah is Noor (light), but its nothing that we can comprehend. The believers will see Allah in the Hereafter, in the gathering-place where judgement will be passed, and in Paradise. However, in this world, Allah cannot be seen, and no creature can encompass Him, may He be glorified and exalted, or imagine what He looks like. Therefore, there is no description of what Allah looks like in Islamic beliefs.
