Allah SWT is a term used in Islam to refer to God. The Arabic word "Allah" is thought to be derived by contraction from "al-ʾilāh", which means "the God", and is related to the Hebrew and Aramaic words for God. The term "SWT" is an abbreviation of the Arabic phrase "Subhanahu wa taala", which means "The most glorified, the most high" and is used as a Muslim honorific for God. Muslims use this phrase as a reminder of Allahs infinite power and wisdom, to recognize that everything comes from Him, and to show humility and gratitude towards their creator.
