In email, BCC stands for "blind carbon copy". It is a way of sending copies of an email to other people without revealing their email addresses to the other recipients. When you place email addresses in the BCC field of a message, those addresses are invisible to the recipients of the email. Conversely, any email addresses that you place in the To field or the CC field are visible to everyone who receives the message. The BCC function can be very useful if you are sending out an announcement to all the members of your club and need to protect the data privacy of the recipients by not displaying their email addresses to others.
