Observation Haki is a type of Haki in the One Piece universe that allows the user to sense the presence of others. It is also known as Mantra and can be used to predict the future actions of a person by foreknowledge. The user can sense incoming dangers, gauge powers, sense intent, and feel the emotions of those around them. When an individual becomes incredibly skilled in the use of Observation Haki, they can potentially unlock its most powerful skill: Future Sight. This ability allows the user to glimpse into the near future, giving them the ability to act accordingly. Future Sight Observation Haki allows the user to predict the exact movements of their opponents, adjust accordingly, and evade every single one of their attacks. It also allows the user to attack effectively by reading how the opponents dodge and launching attacks to hurt them as soon as they dodge the initial strike. However, the person being observed must be in a state of awareness and thinking, and the user cannot foresee their own future actions or reactions in relation to the opponent.
