Paraskevidekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13th. It’s a mouthful derived from Greek roots: paraskeví (Friday) + dekatreis (thirteen) + -phobia (fear). The term was popularized by psychotherapist Donald Dossey, who is often credited with coining or promoting the word.
