The Quran does not give details of events that will happen, but it mentions them globally if they are mentioned at all. However, there are several reasons why Palestine is significant to Muslims. Palestine is a nation that is held in high esteem in Islamic history and has great significance for Muslims. Some of the major reasons for Palestine being of significance to Muslims are:

• Home of many Prophets: Palestine was the birthplace of many Prophets, including Hazrat Ibrahim, Ishaq, Dawud, Yaqub, Sulayman, Zakariya, Yahya, Isa, and other companions like Irmiya, Maryam, Samuil, Talut, Uzair, and Yusha.

• Masjid al-Aqsa: Palestine is home to one of the Sacred Masjids in Islam, the Masjid al-Aqsa. Masjid al-Aqsa is the third holiest site in Islam. It was the first Qibla for Muslims.

• Miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad: Palestine was the site of the miraculous night journey of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) .

The Holy Quran mentions Allahs promise regarding the Promised Land, Palestine. Allah said that He had given the Jews another land, which had some conditions attached as well. They were told that Palestine would be given to the righteous servants of God. Hazrat Musleh-e-Maudra has provided an answer that the Holy Quran and ahadith tell us that the Jews will settle in Palestine once more, but it has not been stated that they will settle here forever. The permanent occupation of Palestine has been decreed for the righteous servants.
