According to the Farmers Almanac, winter temperatures in 2023 will be below normal overall, with December temperatures just 1 degree below average and January and February temperatures 3 to 4 degrees below average. The Old Farmers Almanac predicts snow, seasonable cold, and all of winter’s delights, promising a lot of cold and snow across North America. The winter season is expected to start out quite stormy, with some blizzard conditions blowing snow into areas over northern New England, the North Central States, and northern and central areas of New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The Pacific Northwest will be relatively dry and cold throughout the season. The Farmers Almanac is forecasting "The brrr is back" with "more snow and low temperatures nationwide,” especially in the Great Lakes, Midwest, and northern New England areas.
