Voice isolation is a feature available on iPhones and iPads running iOS 15 or later, and on certain Macs running macOS Monterey. It is designed to make your voice clearer during a call by prioritizing your voice and blocking out ambient noise. When you turn on voice isolation, your device aggressively processes the audio coming into your microphone to remove background noise, making it easier for the person on the other end of the call to hear you. The feature is accessible during a call by swiping down from the top-right corner of your screen to open Control Center, tapping Mic Mode, and selecting Voice Isolation. It is important to note that voice isolation is not a universal setting, so you will have to enable it in every app you use for calls.
