Birds are preyed upon by various animals, including cats, bats, squirrels, foxes, snakes, and coyotes. Some of the animals that eat birds are:
- Cats : Domesticated cats and wildcats alike are known to hunt and eat birds
- Bats : These flying mammals also consume birds as part of their diet
