The V8 Supercars Championship field has been fueled with BP fuel since 2020. From the 2023 season, the cars will be fueled with the new BP E75 Racing Fuel, which is said to be lower carbon on a Well-to-Wheel basis than the previous fuel specification. The previous fuel specification was an ethanol blend, with the previous-generation cars powered by a BP-branded E85 mix. The cars in the V8 Supercars Championship use either a 5.4L or 5.7L naturally aspirated V8 engine. The cars typically use 76L per 100km (depending on the track) and fuel flows at 3L per second during a pit stop.
