The generation that comes after Millennials is either referred to as Generation Z or Generation Alpha, depending on the source. According to Pew Research Center, anyone born from 1997 onward is part of a new generation, which they initially referred to as "post-Millennials". However, over the past year, "Gen Z" has taken hold in popular culture and journalism. Researchers and popular media use the mid-to-late 1990s as starting birth years and the early 2010s as ending birth years for Generation Z. On the other hand, Generation Alpha starts with children born in 2010 and will continue at least through 2024, maybe later.
