According to multiple sources, including CNN, The Washington Post, and Fox 5 DC, Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was temporarily closed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, due to a bomb threat. A man was arrested after claiming he had a bomb in his vehicle. The terminal roadway was shut down due to the investigation. After officers investigated outside the airport, an "all clear" was given and the terminal roadway is back to normal. The incident stranded travelers and closed roads and security checkpoints.
