"Reptile" is a movie on Netflix that tells the story of a former big-city police detective, Tommy Nichols, who investigates the murder of a young real estate agent in Maine. Nichols uncovers a web of police corruption involving his colleagues and even his wifes uncle, leading to a tense climax where he takes matters into his own hands. The movies title, "Reptile," is a metaphor for the film, where characters are introduced as one thing and revealed to be something else, and theres a shedding of skin that occurs. The movies ending is open-ended, and the viewer can come to their conclusion.
