ABBA was a Swedish pop group that formed in 1972 and consisted of four members: Björn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. They gained international fame after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with their hit song "Waterloo". The group disbanded in 1982 after both couples within the band divorced. Since then, the members have pursued various solo projects and collaborations. Heres what happened to each member after ABBA disbanded:

• Björn Ulvaeus: After ABBA disbanded, Ulvaeus continued to write music for stage productions, musicals, and movies. In 2022, he announced his plans to divorce his wife of over 40 years.

• Agnetha Fältskog: Fältskog returned to a solo career after ABBA, releasing several albums in both Swedish and English. She withdrew from public life for years after her 1987 album "I Stand Alone" but returned to music with a new album in 2004 and another in 2013.

• Benny Andersson: Andersson continued to write music after ABBA disbanded, including music for stage productions and movies. He also released several solo albums and collaborated with other artists.

• Anni-Frid Lyngstad: Lyngstad released several solo albums after ABBA disbanded and collaborated with other artists. She also became involved in environmental and humanitarian causes.

In 2016, ABBA reunited for a performance of "Me and I" at a gala in Stockholm celebrating 50 years since Ulvaeus and Andersson met and became songwriting collaborators.
