Bindi Irwin, the TV personality and daughter of the late Steve Irwin, has been battling endometriosis for the past 10 years. Endometriosis is a reproductive condition in which uterine tissue grows outside of the uterus. Bindi has experienced chronic pain, fatigue, and nausea due to this condition. However, doctors initially dismissed her pain before she was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. In May 2023, Bindi underwent surgery to remove 37 lesions and a chocolate cyst on her ovary. She has since shared that the surgery has given her a "second chance at life" and that she feels like a completely new person. Bindi hopes that her story will encourage others to fight for their own health.
