Bon Clay survived the Impel Down arc and did not get killed. He escaped to Level 5.5 (Newkamaland) after his fight against Magellan. In the anime episode 451, Bon Clay disguised himself as Magellan to help Luffy and the prisoners escape on the Marine ship. Magellan found out and attacked Bon Clay, but the episode ends after a few seconds, and the subsequent episodes do not show what happened next. Despite the lack of information on what happened to him after the fight, it was later revealed that Bon Clay managed to survive. He maintained contact with Luffy via Den Den Mushi, suggesting that he managed to escape from Impel Down and resume his journey in the world of One Piece. Currently, Bon Clay is the Queen of the prisons Newkama Land.
