Brooke Bailey, a star of the reality TV show "Basketball Wives," lost her daughter, Kayla Nicole Bailey, in a car accident in Memphis on September 25, 2022. Kayla was 25 years old and was a passenger in a car that collided with a tractor-trailer on I-40 eastbound just west of Hollywood around 4 a.m. Sunday morning. The cause of the accident was believed to be the drivers inattention when he ran into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped due to a separate crash. Kayla was transported to a local hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries. Brooke Bailey shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram that reads “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey. This is not goodbye. Mommy will see you soon” . She also shared a picture of herself sitting next to her daughter’s gravesite on Thanksgiving Day. Bailey has received an outpouring of love and support from her co-stars and fans on social media following the death of her daughter.
