Buffalo Bills running back Damien Harris was taken off the field in an ambulance with a neck injury during Sundays matchup against the New York Giants. The injury occurred late in the second quarter as Harris took a handoff up the middle and was met by Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke. Players from both teams signaled for the Bills training staff to aid Harris immediately after the play. The entire Bills team left the sideline and surrounded Harris as the Buffalo training staff assessed Harris injury. Harris gave a thumbs up as he was placed inside the ambulance. According to the Bills, Harris has movement in his arms and legs and was taken to the hospital for further testing. Bills coach Sean McDermott said after the game that Harris was "heading in a good direction" and had regained "full movement" of his extremities. Harris is a 26-year-old backup running back in his fifth season of professional football after playing at Alabama.
