According to multiple sources, including, DBS Banks digital banking and payment services were down on Saturday, October 14, 2023. ATMs were also affected, with some customers reporting issues with withdrawing cash. The outage started at around 2:30 pm and lasted for several hours. DBS reopened its branches and said it expected to "progressively restore services" from 7 pm on Saturday. The bank said the service disruption was caused by an issue at a data center which is also used by various other organizations. DBS apologized for the inconvenience caused and assured customers that their systems were not compromised.
