Hanzo, a damage hero in Overwatch 2, was temporarily removed from the game due to a bug that allowed him to shoot his bow like an assault rifle, firing nonstop fully-charged arrows capable of one-shotting the majority of the roster. The bug was caused by the "toggle primary fire" setting, which allowed Hanzo to spam weaker-looking arrows that still dealt his full 120 damage at twice his normal firing rate. Hanzo was disabled in all modes for the time being, but he was expected to be re-enabled after a hotfix was released. The bug was discovered on October 12, 2023, and Hanzo was removed from the game on the same day.
