Harley Windsor and Ekaterina "Katya" Alexandrovskaya were a figure skating duo who competed together for Australia between 2015 and 2020. They had a successful partnership, including winning gold at the Junior World Championships in 2017, which put them on course to compete at the 2018 Winter Olympics. However, their partnership was plagued by injury troubles, health issues, and coaching changes, which ultimately led to their heartbreaking end to their skating career together. In January 2020, Katya began treatment for epilepsy, which prompted her to dissolve her partnership with Harley and retire from figure skating a month later. Katya Alexandrovskaya died by suicide on July 18, 2020, at the age of 20. In contrast, Harley Windsor is still competing in the world of figure skating and has switched allegiance to compete for South Korea, where he is partnered with Canadian-born Korean skater, Cho Hye-jin, for the upcoming season. A feature-length documentary titled "Harley & Katya" was released in February 2022, which detailed Alexandrovskaya/Windsors relationship and partnership.
