Janice Freeman, a contestant on season 13 of "The Voice" in 2017, died on March 2, 2019, at the age of 33. Her family confirmed to TMZ that she died from an extreme case of pneumonia and a blood clot that traveled to her heart. Freemans husband Dion performed CPR until the ambulance arrived, but she passed away at a local hospital shortly after. Freeman was a member of Team Miley on "The Voice" and formed a friendship with Miley Cyrus after the show. In January 2018, Freeman revealed that Cyrus covered half a year of expenses for her family when she fell on hard times. Freeman is survived by her husband and daughter.
