Jeff Wittek is a YouTuber, comedian, and podcaster who runs the series Jeffs Barbershop and the podcast Jeff FM. In June 2020, Wittek sustained severe injuries to his face and skull while filming a stunt for David Dobriks YouTube channel. Dobrik was operating an excavator in a shallow lake while Wittek swung from a rope attached to its arm. When Dobrik stopped the machine, Wittek smashed into its arm, suffering a fractured skull, a fractured eye socket, a broken hip, a broken foot, and a leg injury. Wittek has undergone multiple surgeries since the accident, including eight on his left eye. He has publicly cut ties with Dobrik and is suing him for $10 million in damages for "general negligence and intentional tort," alleging that the accident caused him to miss out on work and accumulate expensive hospital bills.
