At the end of Breaking Bad, Jesse is seen escaping from the Brotherhoods compound and driving away in Todds Chevrolet El Camino, while Walter succumbs to a gunshot wound, marking the end of his journey. Jesses future is uncertain, but it is strongly implied that he is on the path to living a normal life, free from the crime-filled existence of his past. The spinoff movie El Camino is dedicated to answering the question "Whatever happened to Jesse Pinkman?". After "dueling" with a criminal named Neil over a share of Todds money, Jesse was able to pay for the service of being "disappeared" by Robert Forsters character, Ed Galbraith, the same service that Saul Goodman used in Breaking Bad. He then begins a new life in Alaska, leaving a letter for his former girlfriends son, Brock, but otherwise not saying goodbye to anyone.
