Kid Cudi is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, and fashion designer. He has been widely recognized as an influence on several contemporary hip hop and alternative acts. His lyrics are often autobiographical and describe his childhood hardships of depression, loneliness, and alienation, his struggle with alcohol and drugs into adulthood, and themes of spirituality, heartbreak, dissipation, and celebration.

In 2016, Kid Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges. Two weeks after checking himself into rehab, he had a stroke. He didnt fully feel like himself again until the following year when he auditioned for a Broadway play about law enforcement, Lobby Hero.

Kid Cudi recently released a new album called "Entergalactic" and an animated special of the same name on Netflix. However, he has also stated that he might be done with albums after "Entergalactic". In November 2022, Kid Cudi removed his music from Soundcloud after a fan had said they preferred the original version, and he claimed that "toxic fans" are one of the reasons he doesnt want to make music for much longer.
