Kyra Hart, played by Scarlett Pomers, was a character on the TV show "Reba". In the shows fifth season, Kyra was battling anorexia nervosa and was forced to leave the show for most of that season to seek help at a facility. Scarlett Pomers lost a significant amount of weight due to her anorexia, and she was down to a weight of 73 pounds at one point. After leaving the show, she gained control over her issue and became an ambassador for the National Eating Disorders Association. Scarlett returned to "Reba" for the last season but decided that Hollywood was not the place for her and retired from acting. She pursued music and started her own band, which she had already begun while making "Reba".
