Maki is a character from the anime/manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. In the Shibuya Incident, Maki was severely burned by Jogos flames, leaving a great deal of her body covered in scars from the severe burns. She survived the attack due to her bodys superhuman properties, even before the completion of her heavenly restriction, and the Reverse Cursed Technique, which increased her chances of survival. However, Yutas technique could not heal the burn scars she sustained. Following the death of her sister Mai, Maki gained a huge boost in strength, which was confirmed in Chapter 151 of the series. Maki has undergone an insane amount of trauma, including killing her entire family and having her twin sister die in her arms. She has become stoic in order to get through all that trauma, and its only been 19 days since Shibuya, so she hasnt had time to properly process it.
