Marilyn Monroes body was discovered before dawn on August 5, 1962, inside her home at 12305 Fifth Helena Drive in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. She died of a barbiturate overdose. Her housekeeper, Eunice Murray, found her lying facedown in her bed, naked, and called her doctor. It took six hours to transport Marilyns body from her home to the morgue, when it was a drive that should have only taken 45 minutes. There are rumors that her body was missing or tampered with, but there is no hard evidence to support these claims.
