At the end of season three of Sex Education, Moordale Secondary School was closed down and sold to property developers after all the investors pulled out. This was due to the newly appointed head teacher, Hope Haddon, attempting to rebrand Moordale as Sparkside Academy in an effort to distance the institution from its reputation as ‘Sex School.’ However, Hope’s heavy-handed methods were not popular with Moordale’s students who eventually rebelled against her to make the school more open and accepting. As a result, the students of Moordale became dispersed and only some of them attend Cavendish College, while others go to different education institutions.
