In the movie "Promising Young Woman," Nina is Cassies childhood best friend who was raped during a party in medical school. After the incident, Nina dropped out of school and eventually committed suicide. Cassie seeks revenge on those responsible for Ninas death, including her rapist, Al Monroe. The movie ends with Cassie disguising herself as a stripper and showing up at Als bachelor party to carry out her final act of revenge, but things dont go according to plan.
