Princess Sofia of Spain has left home to study in the United Kingdom. She is following in the footsteps of her older sister, Princess Leonor, by studying at the United World College of the Atlantic in Wales. The schools International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is designed to develop students into emerging leaders who understand that change is possible through dialogue, action, and a determination to make situations better - locally, nationally, and globally. Princess Sofias parents, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, will pay the annual tuition of 74 thousand British pounds from their personal funds. The Royal Household of Spain announced in February that Princess Sofia would attend the school, and she passed the entry tests required for the college.
